Steven's Memorial
Museum, Pioneer Village
Stevens Museum is a great
place to research your family's genealogy. The museum has one of the finest and most
comprehensive genealogical libraries in the United States. Pioneer Village offers a
glimpse of the past. The complex is located on East Market Street, two blocks east
of the Public Square in Salem.

Knobstone Trail
Knobstone trail offers great
hiking and there are many trailheads nearby. One trailhead is located at the
county-owned Delaney Creek Park.

Park
Delaney Creek is a
county-owned facility featuring fishing, boating, relaxing, swimming and hiking.
There is an entrance to the famous Knobstone Trail and even a beautiful restaurant - The
Boat Loft Restaurant. The park is located about 12 miles north of
Salem, off State Road 135.

This city-owned lake is nearby and just right for relaxing, fishing, or just taking in the
sights.
Spurgeon Hollow Lake in Washington County
offers a beautiful setting for a picnic, fishing or hiking

Two golf courses are
available locally. Play at Scottsburg or pick up 9 at the Hoosier Hills Country Club
and Golf Course at Salem. Hoosier Hills is located adjacent to the Salem Speedway.

Salem Speedway
For over 50 years, the
world-famous high banks of the Salem Speedway has excited racing fans. During the
spring, summer and fall, you'll find excitement at the Salem Speedway featuring
"Racing so fast, it's already history."
NEARBY ATTRACTIONS
Just a short drive away, is
the historic river city of Madison, Indiana. Its only a 35
mile drive to historic Spring Mill State Park and the Gus
Grisson Memorial in Mitchell, Indiana. And, its only about a 40 minute
drive to the Caeser's Riverboat Casino in Harrison, County.
